The show returns later this month.

Twin Peaks is set to return on May 21 and though David Lynch and company have kept a tight lid on the plot of the season, you can see returning characters including Agent Dale Cooper, Ed Hurley and Laura Palmer’s mother Sarah in a new trailer.

The trailer is barely a minute long, but it’s one of the most substantial looks we’ve gotten of the mysterious show yet. Meanwhile, those deeply unsettling electronic thuds in the soundtrack suggest that Lynch hasn’t lost his nightmarish touch.
