Opinion-dividing Bay Area rapper Kreayshawn has announced her debut album, Somethin’ Bout Kreay.

In a short interview with Pitchfork, Kreayshawn, who exploded into the world’s periphery with her all-conquering ‘Gucci Gucci’ single, reveals that she’s “just thinking of album art” – the implication being that the music is basically finished.

Diplo, Boyz Noize and Two Stacks, who produced ‘Gucci Gucci’, will all contribute production. Diplo’s track is, in Kreay’s words, “a song about booty popping and twerking. I know Diplo knows a lot about underground music culture – he was one of the people to put me onto music like that when I used to listen to the Mad Decent Mixes. It was like, ‘Oh, he knows what I want.'” Kreay also claims that the album will feature touches of New Orleans Bounce and Chicago footwork.

The record’s first single, meanwhile, is a syrup-inspired collaboration with Atlanta man-of-the-moment 2 Chainz, a video for which is expected to drop next month.
