Mute announce new Record Store Day releases, with Carter Tutti Void and more

Mute have announced four new Record Store Day releases.

Carter Tutti Void [above], the trio of Throbbing Gristle’s Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti and Factory Floor’s Nik Void, will release a limited-to-300 picture 7″. It features ‘V2’ and an edit of ‘V3’ from the trio’s recent Transverse, and comes with similar eye-knackering artwork to that release.

Neo-folk lovie Beth Jeans Houghton, with The Hooves of Destiny, contribute a 7″ picture disc version of ‘Atlas’, from her debut album Yours Truly, Cellophane Nose. That’s backed with an unheard B-side, ‘Caialogue’, and limited to 250 copies.

Elsewhere, Cold Specks release a four-track EP titled Dancing Coins (feat. a cover of Swans’ ‘Reeling The Liars In’) and S.C.U.M. and Big Deal cover each other on a split 7″. Record Store Day takes place on April 21 – to read FACT’s guide to its best offers and releases, click here.
