This weekend, Pulp stopped by The Jonathan Ross Show for their first live TV performance in a decade.

The Sheffield giants blasted through a rendition of peppy new single ‘After You’, produced in association with James Murphy. The track, first unveiled on Christmas Day, recently got a full iTunes release following “considerable interest from fans”. The single, based on a mothballed Pulp demo, is their first since 2002’s ‘Bad Cover Version’.

Cocker has previously ruled out the possibility of any new Pulp material, saying “it was a big enough challenge to learn how to play all the old songs and, hopefully, perform them in a convincing way.” Murphy, on the other hand, is gearing up to re-release classic LCD Soundsystem single ‘Yeah’.
