Unless you’re one of those goons who doesn’t know ‘Who Outkast Is’, you’ll be aware that the legendary Atlanta rap duo are going to be all over 2014.
A reunited Big Boi and Andre 3000 will be headlining Coachella 2014, playing festival spots across the globe – of which Glastonbury is a likely candidate – and generally celebrating 20 years since their classic debut Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Touch wood, it looks like that won’t be all – as has been conjectured numerous times, an album apprears to be in the works as well.
The news arrives from rapper/one-time OutKast manager/chat show doyenne Queen Latifah who opened up about the subject on The Howard Stern Show. When asked what the ATLiens were up to, Latifah said that the duo were “about to work on a new album”. Not official confirmation, then, but certainly something to whet the appetite.

Update: Queen Latifah has backtracked on her statement, taking aim at the “rumor mill” for the confusion.
PS: the rumor mill says I predicted an @Outkast album…except I didn't. Sorry to get twitter a flutter. XO
