Just because he can, Actress has emerged with a shock new limited four-track EP.

Entitled Xoul, the 12″ is expected to land in stores next week, and will be limited to a measly 500 copies, so if you fancy hearing it we’d suggest buying a pair of running shoes in anticipation. It’s not the first time Darren Cunningham has used covert tactics to emerge with new material (check the Trilogy Tapes recent roster closely for proof of that), and Xoul follows the divisive and sprawling Ghettoville full-length, which dropped earlier this year.

Unsurprisingly, the EP will be released on Cunningham’s own Werkdiscs imprint, and as soon as we have any more information at all, we’ll be adding updates. You have to admit he does keep us on our toes. [via Juno Plus]
