Roland adds 707 sounds to AIRA TR-8

Roland adds another classic drum machine to its product line.

The release of Roland’s AIRA, a series of emulated digital synths, was one of the year’s biggest stories. Now, following takes on the legendary 808, 909 and 303 machines, Roland has turned its attention to the TR-707 — a staple of early house and acid records — and the Latin-flavored TR-727.

Every sound from the two machines, along with new and modified 808 and 909 sounds, will be released as part of a TR-8 expansion pack, available on December 19 for $95.
