The ace blog returns with the first of three volumes of Heterotopia remixes.

The Astral Plane dropped Heterotopia late last year, compiling club heat by the likes of Kid Antoine, Air Max ’97, Divoli S’vere and Celestial Trax. Next up is a three-part series of Heterotopia remixes by members of the Astral Plane family; the first part is due out on February 3 and features remixes by Fraxinus, Druid Cloak and more.

A highlight of Volume 1 is an epic remix of Iglooghost’s ‘Woodfarm’ by club-producer-to-watch Sharp Veins. The Alabama producer has completely reimagined the original club track, slowing it down and retransmitting through alien radio waves as it mutates from techno to noise to hip-hop.
