The 1991 ambient house classic will be remastered and remixed for its first official single release.

Last year Demdike Stare tracked down producer Shinichi Atobe to bring us his long awaited debut LP (and a top 10 album of 2014 by our count). Now Utopia, a new label founded by Alexander Bradley and Phonica Records, will unearth more Japanese house classics in the form of Manabu Nagayama and Soichi Terada’s ‘Low Tension’.

‘Low Tension’ was originally released in 1991 on the La Ronde compilation for BPM Records, but will finally receive a single release with two new remixes attached. First the ‘Foog Mix’ comes from Japanese producer Yukihiro Fukutomi, while the ‘Utopian’ mix comes from Bradley himself. The release promises to be the first from an eclectic schedule of releases the new label has planned.

Listen to ‘Low Tension’ and it’s new ‘Utopian Mix’ below and grab the new single here.
