Mike Simonetti’s new imprint outlines a pair of incoming singles.

The former Italians Do It Better man launched new label 2MR in December alongside Captured Tracks boss Mike Sniper. The first release on the new imprint was an album from Simonetti’s new Pale Blue project, delivered back in April. 2MR have today announced their next two releases.

The first will come from DUST, a trio led by Korean visual and noise artist Greem Jellyfish and including Michael Sherburn and John Barclay. Barclay is the owner of vital Bushwick venue Bossa Nova Civic Club. DUST’s release for 2MR follows previous efforts for Low Life Inc., Sci-Fi & Fantasy and Mannequin.

The second upcoming 2MR single is from Deardrums. Deardrums is the name of Italian-based producer Bottin’s new project with compatriot Leo di Angilla. According to the label, Deardrums “deploy an arsenal of analog drum machines (mostly played by hand) in what feels like a neo-tribal soundscape, drawing from pre-Hispanic elements (think Mayan and Aztec, not Latin) and pseudo-African rhythms.” You can hear their track ‘Aquila’ below.

Deardrums’ Aquila and DUST’s Moth On Fire will both be released via 2MR on June 30. [via RA]
