Bristol pioneer returns with collaborative project.

It’s been a busy week for Tricky. On Thursday, the vocalist and musician reunited with fellow Bristolians Massive Attack on their new EP, Ritual Spirit, and a few days earlier he released his Skilled Mechanics album.

Announced last November, Skilled Mechanics is a collaboration between Tricky, DJ Milo, founding member of the Wild Bunch and Massive Attack, and drummer Luke Harris. The project places Tricky at the front vocally, with guest appearances from Chinese rapper Ivy and Francesca Belmonte.
