Tony Allen and a private beach, what’s not to like?

Barcelona’s Off At Forum festival has added Afrobeat pioneer Tony Allen to its 2016 line-up. The Fela Kuti drummer will present the ‘Film of Life’ project he worked on with Damon Albarn.

Crosstown Rebels’ boss Damian Lazarus, French DJ Oxia and dubstep veteran Scuba – who did this Hotflush- focused FACT mix for us back in 2011 – are now also confirmed to perform at the city’s Parc Del Forum, along with Marcellus Pittman, Beautiful Swimmers, Palms Trax and Nick Höppner.

The fourth annual Off At Forum takes place June 16-19 just a few metres from the sea, with a bathing area offered via a private beach – see a plan of the site below. Tickets are available to buy from the festival website.
