Grimes stepped up as the musical guest on last night’s (May 4) Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform her ‘Flesh Without Blood’ single.

Powered by multi-coloured lights and strobe-led visuals, the Canadian artist was accompanied by a group of dancers in full skirts for a theatrical performance of the track from her Art Angels LP, which placed high in our list of the best albums of 2015.

Grimes only released Art Angels last year, but she said in April that she is already working on two new releases: a Lana Del Rey-inspired bonus edition of Art Angels featuring discarded demos and B-sides from the making of that record, and an all-new LP of music she describes as “chill vibes”.

Last month it was announced that the artist will be the new face of POP – a sustainable fragrance from Stella McCartney.
