Well, it was only a matter of time.

Spotify has launched a music channel dedicated to gaming.

Announcing the news via its blog today (August 12), the streaming giant says Spotify Gaming will bring together “video game music of all kinds.” It will feature original soundtracks, like Final Fantasy before it was desecrated by Florence + the Machine, and No Man’s Sky, as well as curated playlists from Spotify and those created by members of the Spotify community.

Current playlists include the rap-led ‘Power Gaming’, featuring tracks from Dr. Dre, Desiigner, and Eminem, and a ‘RetroWave’ playlist, which takes its inspiration from synth-laden ‘80s games and movies. Listen to that one below.

Spotify’s new Gaming category will be available in ‘Browse’ across all platforms, including iOS, Android, desktop and PlayStation, starting today.

Of course, if you love video game soundtracks that much you should start with our Top 100.
