Big bucks for the big bucks.

Forbes has unveiled its annual list of the world’s highest paid DJs, and there’s not a woman in sight.

The financial magazine calculates its yearly list of DJ earnings based on DJ income alone.

This year, Calvin Harris is still at the top, taking home £48.3m in 2015 – £15 million less than ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift. Tiësto is at number two with £29.2 million. According to Forbes, the Dutch-born DJ played more than 100 gigs in the past 12 months, on top of an estimated seven-figure deal with 7UP. David Guetta is one place behind him, raking in £21.5m.

At 10th place is Aviici, earning a mere £11.1 million last year. The Swedish DJ – who has dropped five places on the rich list – announced his retirement from music in March. See the full list below.

There may be a small slither of hope amid the list’s depressing predictability. Forbes reports that the top ten earners are collectively down one per cent from 2015, the first time the number has gone down since the magazine began tracking DJ pay in 2012, throwing some weight to the assertion that the death-knell for EDM has finally sounded.
