The terrace of the Greenwich venue will be the section that eventually re-opens.

London club Studio 338 is set to re-open following a devastating fire that left one staff member dead earlier this month.

In a statement posted to Facebook yesterday (August 23), the club says that it will announce details and how to get involved with the re-opening this week. It also revealed that the team behind Studio 338 are launching a brand new club project in east London. Information on that new venture will also be announced this week.

“Right now London needs us all to fight for the right to party and to support and love each other in the face of adversity,” reads the statement. “We hope to play a big part in bringing the cities nightlife back to being one of the very best in the world.”

The sprawling terrace section of the north Greenwich venue will be the part which eventually re-opens. An event hosted by Sankeys Ibiza at KOKO on the September 17 will help raise money for the re-opening, along with contributing towards funds for the family of Tomas, the staff member who passed away. A JustGiving page has been set up for Tomas, which so far raised £9,661 to raise money for his funeral in Lithuania and to offer some support to his family.

Information and tickets for the event are available from RA.
