It follows his remix of Rihanna’s ‘Kiss it Better’.

Recent Polaris Music Prize winner Kaytranada has released his self-described ambient remix of Solange’s ‘Cranes in the Sky’. “This is just an edit to play on my DJ sets, and I played it once and everybody wanted it right away,” he wrote on SoundCloud.

“Honestly, I was gonna wait to see if Solange or her team or whoever works for her would’ve ask me to do an official remix so if they still want to, I could make it sound better than that version but ohhhhh, what the hell….” he continued. “Anyways, I highly recommend you that new Solange album A Seat At The Table.”

Plenty of people don’t need that recommendation, however, as it’s currently the no. 1 album on the Billboard 200. It makes Solange and Beyoncé one of three pairs of siblings to both top the albums chart. They join the ranks with Michael and Janet Jackson, as well as Silkk the Shocker and Master P, who, coincidentally, narrates A Seat.
