Our first taste of RTJ3 is here – and it’s a bruising rap banger.

Killer Mike and El-P have shared the first song from Run the Jewels 3 – a powerful, political, uncompromising battle cry that compares Trump to the devil.

“We return from the depths of the bad man / with a gun and a knife and a waistband / went to war with the devil and shaytan / he wore a bad toupee and a spray tan,” raps Killer Mike over a meteor-sized bass and synth backdrop.

Back in June, Killer Mike promised that the pair’s third album would be “darker, harder, meaner, angrier” than previous efforts and it’s certainly sounding that way already. A release date for the album has yet to be confirmed, but El-P tweeted last month that Run The Jewels 3 “is almost finished” and just this morning said it was being mixed, so it could be landing any day.
