An official video for the song that inspired countless memes.

Future’s ‘Mask Off’ almost didn’t need a video after inspiring a flood of fan-made clips using the song’s infectious flute hook. Still, the Atlanta rapper has pulled out all the stops in this Colin Tilley-directed video.

Tilley doesn’t go high-concept like his work with Kendrick Lamar, but simply creates a vivid (and disturbing) world for Future to move through.

The video is filled with burning buildings, overturned cars and a war between riot police and masked civilians, but Future spends most of it zooming by in his car with Amber Rose and plenty of drugs. It’s a fitting metaphor.

Though Future dropped his one-two punch of FUTURE and HNDRXX in February, ‘Mask Off’ has only gained momentum. Last week, it became the rapper’s highest charting single ever.
