Every Monday on FACT, we run an exclusive podcast from one of our favourite artists.
We’re grateful for all the artists that contribute to our series, but naturally, there are some mixes that stick in the memory longer than others. In the case of some – say, Julia Holter’s 2012 effort, a patchwork of orginal home recordings – they could even justify a record pressing in themselves, while others are simply cracking listens that never stray far from the office stereo. We’ve had FACT’s mixes pop up on several end of year lists this year – thanks Resident Advisor, Juno Plus and No Fear of Pop – and today we rank our personal favourite 15 of the year.
