The unstoppable Julia Holter has a new video out, for Exstasis highlight ‘Moni Mon Amie’.

In director Yelena Zhelezov’s words, “The video for ‘Moni Mon Amie’ interprets the song as a lyrical appeal to the unattainable other, and a conversation that’s being had with oneself. The longing transforms the perception of the everyday, turning each moment into a poetic landscape in which the miniature and the gigantic become interchangeable. Julia plays the subject and the object of desire in this video.”

Holter also has a US and European tour in the works, and may or may not hit your shores on the dates listed below.

If you haven’t noticed, California singer Holter has taken 2012 by storm: her latest album Extasis was remarkably well-received (mostly because it’s excellent), and looks certain to top plenty of end of year charts come December.
