Barely pausing for breath after releasing The XX Files Part II EP on Soo Wavey, San Fran’s Matrixxman has lined up another EP of bass-heavy, hollowed-out house music, this time for Spectral Sound.

While lead single ‘Venetian Mask’ is a gently oozing deep house cut, the press release compares ‘The Caravan’ to Matthew Dear’s darkened dancefloor alias Audion. Check out ‘Venetian Mask’ below and look out for the EP on June 9.

The 5kinAndBone5 producer has already popped up on a compilation EP from Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic imprint and a four-track from Unknown To The Unknown this year. [via The Fader]
