Four Tet has called SoundCloud “a total slice of shit” after the service removed a track he had uploaded because it contained “copyrighted content.”
Hebden was trying to upload his remix of “post-everything” troupe Tangents’ track ‘Jindabyne’ when he ran into difficulty, tweeting his dissatisfaction.
“Soundcloud is a total slice of shit right now… all the joy getting sucked out of it @SoundCloud,” he wrote last night (June 6). See the tweets below.
The song has since been reinstated on the platform and you can hear it below.
Just last month, the prolific London artist celebrated 1 million followers on SoundCloud by releasing a new track, while last week his remix of Rihanna’s ‘Kiss It Better’ surfaced online.
