The majority of time the pair spend together tends to involve records and “a little bit of movies.”

In this short film, shot in LA, we’re shown around the pair’s joint record collection. They chat about gear and share guilty pleasures, as well as revealing their favourite soundtracks for sex.

“I get why people would feel a certain way if they know me for movies,” says the Lord of The Rings star on the skepticism he has encountered for his passion. “It’s interesting how we tend to compartmentalise people in a simple way and the preconceptions that come with that.”

“Like a Trojan horse, if people are coming for the wrong reasons, it can be kind of great, because they might walk away with an appreciation they never knew they had.”
