Sonny Moore unleashes his emo scream.

Skrillex got back together with his former emo band From First To Last last year for new track Make War,’ last year and now the electronic producer has taken the reunion up a notch with a live show in LA.

The gig, which fittingly took place at LA’s Emo Night last night (February 7), saw the second wave emo titans play seven songs from their back catalogue, including ‘Note To Self’ and ‘Kiss Me I’m Contagious,’ as Rockandmetalnewz reports.

It’s not clear yet whether this was just a one-off gig or the start of something beautiful, but as the footage shows Skrillex really can do pained emo screaming in the flesh to red-raw perfection – see for yourself below.

Skrillex, aka Sonny Moore, joined Florida band From First To Last in 2004 and recorded two albums with them, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, released that same year, and Heroine two years later.

Moore left the band in 2007 to pursue the solo electronic career that most of us now know him best for, but in 2013 it was revealed by guitarist Matt Good that he had expressed an interest in collaborating with FFTL again at some point in the future. [via Noisey]
